2023 Store Policies
Back-to-School In-Store Shopping – Effective July 2023:
While the pandemic is mostly behind us, the safety of our staff and customers is very important to us. Due to the size of our store and our staffing, we are enforcing the following policies in order to provide the highest quality of service possible.
- Starting July 1st, we will once again be taking appointments for guaranteed fitting room use. This is recommended especially for students who are brand new to a school because it gives you more of a personal shopping experience. The length of your appointment will be based on the number of individuals using the fitting room in 30 minute increments. Two students or less are typically able to be accommodated by a 30 minute appointment but please use your personal discretion when making the appointment. Three or more students will almost always need a minimum of one hour. Please call during store hours to make an appointment (585) 654-7522. If we are busy with customers and unable to answer the phone, please try again. Voicemail requests for appointments are not always able to be accommodated in a timely fashion.
- Please arrive on time and with your entire party present at the time of your appointment. Your appointment will be forfeited if you are 15 or more minutes late. If you are running behind, please call us to notify us and we will try our hardest to accommodate you upon arrival.
- Please be courteous and respectful to other shoppers and families who have appointments after you. We try our best to stay on schedule and can only do that if you schedule yourself an appropriate amount of time for fitting room use. If you determine that you need more time, please make arrangements for a follow up appointment instead of impinging on another family’s time slot. We will do our best to ensure that you have everything you need to be successful in one shopping experience.
- Walk-in usage of our fitting rooms will be provided when the time and store capacity allows.
- Same day additional guests can only be added onto your fitting room appointment as long as your time slot and our store capacity allows.
- Helpful tip from our families: We learned through the appointment method the last few summers that if you have a large group it is most time efficient to place your order online prior to making an appointment. This allows us to have your items already pulled ahead of time for you and then adjustments in sizes, colors or quantity can be made once your children have tried on the products.
- Store occupancy will be approximately 20 customers or less. This allows for comfortable space between families and for our staff to assist everyone in a timely fashion.
- Please note that we do not have a public restroom. We apologize for any inconvenience.
2023 Online Ordering Policy:
When placing an online order, please allow a minimum of 7-10 business days for order processing. Very rarely will your order be available for pick up the same day it was ordered. We do all of our embroidery and screen printing in house, and do our best to keep stock of most items, but we have no control over product availability or shipping time for clothing that has to be ordered from our manufacturer.
- Online orders for in-store pick up will be notified when your order is ready via the number provided at checkout. Please make sure the number you provide is correct, in-service and with a mailbox able to receive voicemails. If we are unable to reach you via phone or email within 2 weeks of fulfillment, your order will be cancelled.
- Online orders with request to be shipped will be notified via the email provided when your order is sent out. Tracking will not be automatically provided.
- While payment information is provided at checkout, you will not be charged until we receive your order and manually charge your card. Please ensure that the card information that you provide is correct. If your card information is unable to be processed due to inaccuracy or insufficient funds, you will be notified via the phone number provided at checkout. If we are unable to reach you within one week of your order being placed, your order will be cancelled.
We will do our best to keep you updated on the status of your order but if you have any questions, feel free to call our store at (585) 654-7522. If we are busy with customers and unable to answer the phone at that time, please leave a detailed message and we will return your call as soon as possible but not necessarily the same day.
2023 Return/Exchange Policy:
Returns with Receipt:
Returns will be accepted within 30 days of purchase for the original form of payment or store credit. Product must be in new, original condition. Tags must be attached and product cannot be washed, worn or altered.
- Items NOT eligible for return:
- Pants/shorts/skirts that have been monogrammed with school initials
- Clothing that has been washed, altered, is stained, shows signs of wear or no longer has tags attached
- Items that have been personalized with anything other than the designated school logo (ie: personal names or initials)
- Brands or products we no longer carry in our store or for schools we no longer provide uniforms for
Returns without Receipt:
Returns without receipt will be honored for store credit at the lowest sale price.
- Items NOT eligible for return:
- Pants/shorts/skirts that have been monogrammed with school initials
- Clothing that has been washed, altered, is stained, shows signs of wear or no longer has tags attached
- Items that have been personalized with anything other than the designated school logo (ie: personal names or initials)
- Brands or products we no longer carry in our store or for schools we no longer provide uniforms for
Exchanges:
Products can be exchanged for size, color or for an item of equal value. If there is a price discrepancy, customer will be given store credit for the remaining amount or will be responsible for paying the difference.
- Items NOT eligible for exchange:
- Pants/shorts/skirts that have been monogrammed with school initials
- Clothing that has been washed, altered, is stained, shows signs of wear or no longer has tags attached
- Items that have been personalized with anything other than the designated school logo (ie: personal names or initials)
- Brands or products we no longer carry in our store or for schools we no longer provide uniforms for
2023 Layaway Policy:
We do offer layaway services for in-store orders. A minimum of 10% of your order total is required as a deposit. The entire order must be paid off within 60 days from the date the order was placed. We do not allow partial order pick ups. You will be notified when your layaway is near expiration but any orders not paid off within 60 days will be cancelled and the 10% deposit will be forfeited. Any additional payment onto the order will be refunded as store credit.
If you choose to cancel your layaway order:
- Within 0-14 days of order placement will receive full deposit back in original payment method.
- Within 15-30 days of order placement will receive full deposit back as store credit.
- Within 31-60 days of order placement will result in loss of the 10% deposit. Any additional payment onto the order will be refunded as store credit.
